We have an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced pig stockperson on a farm near York.
The successful candidate will join a well-established team within a forward-thinking pig enterprise. They will work predominantly within a unit's farrowing section.
Our client is looking for an individual who:
Has excellent attention to detail.
Is willing to learn and get stuck in - the right attitude is key.
Has high welfare standards.
Main Duties:
Daily duties include feeding, vaccinating, moving and handling.
Completing and maintaining pig data and records in a timely manner
Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm to high standards
There is excellent potential for progression with opportunities in other departments, and ongoing training will be given if required.
Training: Full training will be provided.
Salary: £12.60 - £15.75.
Rent £40 per week shared housing, own room.
Transport/van use £10 per week
