We are looking for two an enthusiastic and reliable General Farm worker to join our team nearly Leicester.

The position would suit someone who is forward thinking and keen to take on responsibility and flexible.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about dairy farming and has a keen interest in stock.

Ideally this position would suit someone who has had experience on a dairy farm.

 We are milking approximately 120 cows twice a day.

Duties include Milking, some tractor work and general stock and field duties.

As a Herdsperson, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the dairy operation. Working alongside the Farm owner on a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:

– Daily management of the herd’s health and well-being, spotting and treating illnesses

– Ensuring all daily tasks are completed to a high standard

– Farm machinery and general farm maintenance, cowman capable of driving large machinery,manitou,
8Tractors with trailers. Feeder wagon.

– Keeping the overall farm tidy and safe to operate, adhering to all Health and Safety protocols

– General yard duties such as scraping, bedding, feeding and mucking out
