Dear Sir/Madam,

We are Iryna and Viacheslav, a married couple from Ukraine who arrived in the United Kingdom in 2022. From the very first days, we began working at a poultry farm near the town of Shrewsbury (Staffordshire),with a turnover of approximately 70,000 birds.

We are proud to have gained valuable experience and knowledge in this industry. With full confidence, we would like to continue working in this sector. We are a highly energetic and motivated couple, and it is very important for us to see tangible results from our work.

Our responsibilities included a wide range of tasks, such as:

1. Feeding the birds — We ensured daily feeding of the birds, carefully monitored the quality and correct dosage of feed to maintain the birds’ health and activity.
2. Egg collection — Regular collection of eggs using automatic and manual systems, as well as sorting them according to quality requirements.
3. Cleaning the poultry houses — Maintaining cleanliness and order in the poultry houses, which included cleaning the bedding, removing waste, and ensuring hygienic conditions for the birds.
4. Monitoring the health of the birds — Regularly checking the condition of the birds, identifying signs of illness, and interacting with veterinarians for timely treatment and disease prevention.
5. Equipment maintenance — Setting up and maintaining automatic feeding and watering systems, as well as basic equipment maintenance to ensure the farm’s smooth operation.
6. Managing incubation processes — Assisting in controlling the incubation of eggs, maintaining the correct temperature and humidity, and regularly checking the development of embryos.
7. Maintaining workplace safety — Adhering to all safety and sanitation norms on the farm, using special protective equipment and safety measures to minimize risks.
