About myself:
I am Ninsiima James, a dedicated young agricultural enthusiast from Uganda. I
am 29 years old, weigh 75kg, and stand 184cm tall. Born to a God-fearing,
humble, and hardworking family, I was raised on our family farm, which
specializes in cattle, goats, and poultry., a dedicated young agricultural
enthusiast from Uganda. Currently, I am working on a Danish cattle farm with
600 Holstein cows, gaining invaluable experience in dairy farming and animal
husbandry. Through my dedication and hard work, I aim to contribute to the
growth of sustainable farming practices in my community.
WORK EXPERIENCE
09/2023 – CURRENT SKOVSGAARD, Denmark
• Monitoring the health and wellbeing of the herd, including observing
for signs of illness or distress.
• Assisting with milking processes using both manual and automated
systems.
• Setting up and cleaning of milking equipment before and after milking
sessions.
• Operate milking machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring proper
hygiene and animal comfortable
• Participate in livestock inventory and daily headcounts
• Help in the preparation and distribution of animal feed using a weider
man.
• Learn about different types of feed and their nutritional implications
for dairy cow
• Managing manure handling procedures, including composting and
using it as fertilizer.
• Putting strew in the cow beds using bodman
